Is The Pomeroy On Ditmars Opening Tuesday?

If you haven’t heard yet, Ditmars is getting quite the new addition, and we hear The Pomeroy is opening tomorrow! The former deli will now be home to Bo O’Connor’s restaurant dedicated to “tried-and-true comfort classics” and renditions of well known cocktails. It also just so happens O’Connor was recently the private chef for her childhood best friend, Lady Gaga. (I know. I’ll let that sink in for a second…)

Other favorite dishes include an avocado toast with grapefruit and thinly sliced serrano peppers on Eli’s bread, and a kale and brussels sprout salad, ingredients she says “again have become a huge thing. But kale is actually one of my favorite vegetables.” The bar will feature eight seasonal drinks, takes on classic cocktails, which are named after places and streets in Queens.

A few things we spotted that piqued our interest and their final menu:

“The Pomeroy’s kale and brussel sprouts with toasted almonds, ricotta salata, apple, red onion.”

“The Pomeroy’s Mini Meatballs with beer, pork and pomodoro sauce.”

“The Pomeroy’s The Good Luck with gin, lime juice, cucumber and mint.”
