Twitter Facebook Email Print A WHA reader sent us a couple of photos regarding the new spot opening up where Nazca (and before that, Cold Stone) was—looks like the place is going to be called The High Water. We reported in June that it would be a “tropical restaurant”; we’ve also heard the term “tiki bar” used in reference to this place. They do have an Instagram account—@thehighwaternyc. They’re adding custom art, and have been working on developing their cocktails—this one, Hallet’s Revenge, looks pretty good (I personally love Tajin). “Hallet’s Revenge” created by the talented @bielcolom15 #waitforit #MakeAstoriaGreatAgain #Astoria A post shared by The High-Water (@thehighwaternyc) on Jul 20, 2017 at 6:21pm PDT We look forward to seeing what they will bring to the neighborhood. All of us at the High Water are long time readers and huge fans. We hope that WHA will swing by one of these days soon to sample the Hallet’s Revenge (Created our talented master mixologist Gabriel).
