You can nominate then for best boutique!
Amigos.
When will you have category for “Best Peruvian restaurant” ?
Have your fans nominate you for best restaurant! Don’t be boxed in ;) Also best new arrival?
Food trucks are an astoria staple, with some of the best trucks in all of nyc… See king souvlaki, king falafel, king of tacos! There should be a food truck category!
Why is there no food truck category? King Souvlaki on 31st and 31st is one of the best trucks in the city let alone astoria!
Good question! We tried to edit down to essential categories, but are always open to feedback.
With all due respect. Food trucks should be considered as an essential category. Most food trucks are more popular than actual stores and working on a food truck is no easy job.
food trucks are definitely a more essential category than “favorite place to experience the arts”
And food trucks aren’t an essential category?
William Hallet is the best restaurant, has the best brunch, has a great bar! Favorite place in Astoria, hands down.
Keep loving Astoria. Great place, great food, great spirit, great people be noce to one and other.
Rocky Mcbrides is the best
Love Rocky McBrides!!!! Best Local Bar ever!
I’d vote for Il Bambino in every category if it fit. It’s my all-time favorite place in Astoria, hands down. The food, (which consists of panini and crostini, with some fun soups and salad to join the party,) is always amazing. The menu has some standard favorites, but there are always some new menu choices. The atmosphere is very “village” and the owners and staff take the time to make you feel as though you’re visiting old friends. Love Love Love Il Bambino!!!
Loving the explosion of the coffee scene but unfortunately the newest restaurants just aren’t that good – like 60 beans dinner and burnside biscuits. Hoping for a great 2016!
Thanks for continuing to have this “Best of” series – I wish there was a “Favorite Beer Store” category, though (if only to shed more light on the awesomeness that is Astoria Bier and Cheese)…
As a Burnside enthusiast, I disagree with the below Burnside Biscuits comment – their roast carrots, their roast broccoli and their chicken sandwich with a side of paprika sauce are seriously amazing.
