Multitalented artist Eric Leiser is an award-winning filmmaker, puppeteer, animator, writer, and holographer based out of both New York and LA. Starting this week, he will be sharing his most recent project HOLONOMIC with both art and science fans of Western Queens. Taking place at the Flux Factory Gallery from May 1-May 11, HOLONOMIC presents a series of dazzling holographic images of sculptures involving falling snow and light on splashing water in relation to holonomic brain theory (hence the name HOLONOMIC.) In this series, Leiser looks to investigate perception as a medium, exploring how human cognition is intrinsically involved with co-creating our perceived world. Another teaser image for HOLONOMIC. The images we’ve seen so far have been stunning, and checking them out in person is bound to be breathtaking. For more information about this series, take a look at the Holocenter’s official website.
