We’ve told you where to celebrate Halloween (and the days leading up to it), but one of the other things we’ve observed in the past few weeks is all the fun holiday sweets from our local bakeries to celebrate the season. Here are a handful of the beautiful seasonal baked goods we’ve come across.
Astor Bake Shop
Astor Bake Shop is making cupcakes, to be topped with these ghosts and spooky eyes, and pumpkin macaroons for the season. Astor Bake Shop, 12-23 Astoria Blvd, Astoria
La Guli Pastry Shop
The orange and black is quite striking at the bakery, as La Guli is really getting into the season with their cupcakes and cakes. La Guli Pastry Shop, 29-15 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria
Leli’s Bakery
Fabulous decorated cakes and mini cakes shaped like jack-o-lanterns are available at Leli’s, one of the most popular bakeries in town. Leli’s Bakery, 35-14 30th Ave, Astoria
Sweets First Bakeshoppe
Adorable spooky cupcakes are now available at Sweets First, a cupcake bakery in the Kaufman Arts District. 35-4 35th St, Astoria
Just to let you know, Amy’s Bread doesn’t really have a retail location in LIC anymore! I’d thought about going one day and called them and they said they’d closed it down several months ago.
OMG, thank you! I did not know – what a bummer, though.
Wow If I had kids I would get them a little bit of all of these yummy treats!
