In the ever-changing froyo world here in Astoria, it’s probably not surprising to see businesses change hands. Such is the case at Mama Yogurt, one of the first froyo spots in Astoria, which is now under new management. They are calling themselves Sunberi Yogurt now.

They are proud of their 18-flavors-at-one-time offering, which may be a record here in Astoria. Right now they have a coupon (they were handing them out on Sunday) where you can get 15% off if you show proof of gym membership—any gym membership.

Here’s their menu (click to enlarge), which includes, apart from froyo, milk tea, slushies, smoothies, and fresh juice:

Best wishes, Sunberi! We’ll be by to try your yogurt and drinks soon.

Hopefully New Management has done away with Old Management’s 5-dollar credit card minimum. If anything is responsible for the demise of Old Management, it’s that. I mean, what were we supposed to do? Hopelessly try to gauge the weight of our ice cr/ ‘scuse me, *yogurt* tubs prior to approaching the Alter of the All-Mighty Scale? It’s not like you can just order 5 bucks worth of product. If you’re cashless, and your Medium Cookies n’ Cream with sprinkles and extra Mochi (whatever that is) was $4.50, you better pray to whatever God you believe in that the cashier enjoys this chimera you’ve now created and can’t pay for lest the Hammer of the Mighty FroYo Gods come down on you, and you’re exiled to one of the other 16 million places just like this one.
