Photo credit: Chela Garnacha They are in the old On the Nile Cafe and are right next door to Arepas Cafe—talk about a powerhouse pair. We can’t wait to try the food, too, and we expect it will be as delicious as the Mexico Blvd taco truck’s food is. Look for traditional Mexican food as opposed to Tex-Mex. Here’s a photo from their Facebook page of some tasty looking guacamole. Photo credit: Chela y Garnacha These tacos look good, too. Nopales, Adobo, and Al Pastor tacos. Photo credit: Chela y Granacha From what we can tell, “chela” is slang for beer and “garnacha” refers to wine dishes to eat in hand like antojitos, so I expect we’ll see some good beer and wine tasty snacks here. We’ll see what we can find out from the owners. We look forward to learning more and checking it out!
