Welcome to WHA Wedding Week! With wedding season in full swing, we’re so excited to bring you a full week of Queens-focused wedding content. We have interviews with locals about how they created the wedding of their dreams, and all the resources you could hope for when planning your own special day. Feel free to comment your tips/tricks/opinions…and get ready to feel the love!

Next up, photographers! After so much planning and so many happy memories, you’ll want all the elements of the day captured on film to look back on.

Note: We tried to highlight all Astoria-based photographers, but a few are based in Brooklyn who have captured some beautiful Astoria weddings.

Contact: (Weddings start at $2700, but be sure to reach out with specific details about photo needs so she can build out a custom quote for you!)

Wedding Photography Style: We all know that the details will be to die for, but that’s not what the day is about. It’s about his face when you walk down the aisle. It’s about your grandmother whispering marriage advice in your ear on your way to the chapel. The look you shoot into your partner’s eyes just moments before saying “I do.” Stumbling through your first dance, even though you’ve taken months of lessons. I’m there – before you walk down the aisle, all day long, and after the party ends. Get an expert’s opinion on anything and everything and use my industry connections to have the easiest, least stressful wedding possible.

Wedding Photography Style: As an artist and as a wedding photographer, I want to create photos that tell the story of who you are as a couple and what an epic adventure your wedding day is, whether big or small! You are in love and want your wedding day to reflect your unique style and personalities, have fun and not stress out about the little details. You want to be surrounded by people who mean the most and not spend hours posing! I promise to skip the cheesy poses and I will let you enjoy your cocktail hour because, well, it’s fun and you should be celebrating with your guests and tasting all the food ;)

Wedding Photography Style: Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. It’s not about the fabulous ceremony or the unforgettable reception. It’s about starting your lives together. It’s about committing to each other, declaring your love in front of all your friends and family. My work has been called simultaneously modern yet classic. By blending a photojournalistic style with traditional portraiture, I capture your life-changing moments and preserve them in photographs that will stand the test of time.
