This is part of our “Back to Work” Series on WHA, where we’ll be sharing the best neighborhood tips, tricks and resources to take your career to the next level this fall. Whether you’re a local business owner, a budding entrepreneur or a corporate office worker, we hope this week helps you get back on track and has you feeling inspired to take those next professional steps, whatever they may be!

In our digitally-focused world, photography is so important for personal and business branding. Whether you need a new headshot for your LinkedIn profile, content for social media and your website, or photos of your small business, we’ve rounded up some great local photographers who will help get your site work-ready this fall!

  • Shoott: Photography meets tech-startup at Shoott, which is a great option if you’re looking for flexibility and affordability…you can book a professional photographer on demand and only pay for the photos you love at $15/photo or less–light retouching included. They’re having a summer pop-up on Saturday, August 31 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. right in Astoria Park. The 30-minute personal photo sessions are complimentary to book, and 3-5 business days after your session, you’ll receive a gallery of 40+ digital high-res photos to choose from. You only pay for the ones you love at $15/photo, with package deals of $120 for 10 photos or $220 for your entire gallery of 40+ photos.
