And luckily, as is tradition, Astoria Park is kicking things off with an amazing fireworks show that is arguably the borough’s best fireworks display of the year! It is also the 35th Anniversary of the show. Tonight, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. the fireworks ceremonies will start, featuring a special performance by the Queens Symphony Orchestra, while the Fireworks show will begin at sundown around 9 p.m. The show can be seen from virtually any part of the north end of the East River and upper East Side of Manhattan.
