This year the battle will take place on Monday, January 29th. Competitors will be challenged to create a cocktail around an assigned liquor and theme. Entry is free, and guests can taste a sample of each bartender’s creation before casting a vote for the People’s Choice winner. I’ll be judging this year’s competition…and I’m coming thirsty. This year’s the sponsor is Redwood Empire Whiskey, and the theme is “Magic.” Participants will be building themed cocktails around the magic trick they were randomly assigned.
