Party Preview: Best of Astoria Bash 2017

It’s that time of year! Time to eat, drink, and have some fun! It’s our annual Best of Astoria Bash! We’re heading over to the gorgeous and sexy Paper Factory Hotel on Thursday, May 4th. We are pumped to see you; our readers, small business community leaders, and all of our Best of Astoria nominees! We wanted to share an updated preview of the good food, good booze, and all the fun in store for ticket holders.

This year we wanted to mix it up for our guests. We’ve got 3 different ticket levels for your party goals and budget. No matter the ticket level everyone can enjoy unlimited house wines and select beers.

VIP guests will receive 3 Cocktail drink tickets, and our We Heart Fan ticket holders will receive 2 Cocktail drinks. Let’s talk about those cocktails shall we?

Our first signature drink from Mundo New York is the Cazadores! Made with Tequila, Grapefruit soda, and lime juice. Super fresh! Tastes like spring!!

Calling all Vodka lovers! Our second signature cocktail from Mundo New York is the Grey Goose Le Grand Fizz. A blend of Grey Goose Vodka, Elderflower Liqueur, soda water and lime.

You can’t have a party at The Paper Factory without Mundo’s famous Red Sonja’s, you know we have those on the menu! Along with a menu full of delicious options for vegetarians and omnivores alike!

Although the food and drinks are super important, it’s not a party without some entertainment! We’re so happy that Anita Buffem of Haus of Mimosa is back to be our host and DJ. After we make all our #bestofastoria winner announcements, Anita is going to keep things going with great music…and you never know a little dancing.

Food and entertainment isn’t all we’ve got; don’t forget our beloved Swag Bags!  Items from Yoga Agora, Quontic Bank, Elastic Wax Center, and The Brass Owl. Plus an awesome tote bag from our friends at Town Residential. (OMG we LOVE this design! It’s so cute!) Remember if you want the stuffed to the brim bags…get that VIP ticket!!

Also let’s take a moment to think sexy…as in Sexy Batch Baking Company!! Our good friend Nieves will be bringing sexy batch samples for everyone to try. Including some new flavors!!

If your sweet spidey senses are tingling it’s because not only do we have cookies, but we’ll have cupcakes too!! Did you know that Best of Astoria is turning 5 years old this year?! To celebrate the milestone, Aloria Cakes and Gourmet Sweets, will be presenting us with a special Cupcake! And hey if you sing us Happy Birthday…you might get a cupcake too! (you never know!!)

If you haven’t bought your tickets yet-you better get going!! We can’t wait to see you! We are completely sold out of the Follower level ticket, and only have a handful of both VIP and Fan. At the rate our tickets are going, we doubt we can do at the door sales.
