A Bite-Size Update on Flattops

Hungry for some scoop on Flattops, the newest venture from the team behind Queens Comfort? We first posted about the new restaurant/arcade in February, and details have been mostly kept under wraps since then.

A rumor was swirling around Instagram that they’d be opening June 1st, but that seems to be a little premature. I spoke with Donnie, the owner of Queens Comfort, and while the first of the month likely won’t be happening, they are hoping for an early June opening date.

One thing we CAN tell you: they are actively hiring. In typical kooky Queens Comfort fashion, they’ve posted a Craigslist ad searching for a “funky head bartender” for their “dank spot.” The official job posting can be found here. If you have bartending experience and can bring the funk, this might be a great opportunity!

Based on an e-mail response they’ve posted on the exterior of the restaurant, they’ve already received some interest. If you’re more qualified than the Drake fan below, apply away!
