Opening day is Saturday, April 9, and they’ll be there every Saturday and Sunday into the Fall, featuring food and drink, non-edible products, music, and more. And if you are a vendor who would like to be part of the LIC Flea, you are encouraged to sign up to be considered. The Flea folks are, “looking for the best in food, sweets, handcrafted, curated and international items, vintage, antiques and art.” Head to the LIC Flea homepage and scroll down to the form toward the bottom of the page. We’re curious to see who will be returning (the LIC Flea press release lists Vivian Jewelry and Bulldog Burgery as newcomers). Interestingly enough, one of the new vendors is The Ditty, that new bar on Ditmars Blvd. It’s always interesting to see how brick-and-mortar spots translate their work to a vendor-oriented environment.
