We’ve learned that yet another bar is opening up there, called The Ditty. Yes, we believe “The Ditty” refers to a sometimes-used nickname for Ditmars Blvd. Check out these guys who are really into said diminutive. Aside: have you ever called Ditmars “the ditty”? We are dying to know. According to a recent Craigslist post, The Ditty (also known as “The Beast of the East”) will offer cocktails, wine, beer, and food, and are looking for bartenders and servers who are really into those things, as well as the hospitality industry. As to when they are opening, we’ve reached out to the owners and hope to have that for you soon.
