Astoria Arrivals – Sabor de Cuba
A new Cuban restaurant called Sabor de Cuba opens in Astoria.

Last week, we were informed about a new Cuban restaurant that’s recently opened in Astoria. Sabor de Cuba located on 31st Avenue and 37th street occupies a small space but it seems they use it well. Offering a bevy of authentic Cuban eats and drinks such as empanadas, ropa vieja, and various seafood, it’s also a great spot to come late night and grab drinks with friends. They’ll have live bands from time to time, which is just what they did for their grand opening last weekend, and to rave reviews.

We’re getting a hold of their menu and other details but in the meantime here’s some early feedback from Yelp as well as a few interior shots to pique your interest. If you’ve already been there, we’d love to know what you thought.

Yes, that’s the old burger space. This Cuban place is great with good food.
Please go and support them. The only thing they cannot have is liquor cause of the Church is too close to them( another archaic NYC law ) but they have good wine and Sangria ! Enjoy!!!!!
