Good news—the Feast of the Seven Fishes is back again this year at Vesta for Christmas Eve! This is a traditional Italian-American celebration, and recognizes the Christmas Vigil, the Vigilia di Natale. The meal requires participation from the whole table, so keep that in consideration when you make your reservation. It’s also a fantastic way to spend Christmas Eve! Here’s the menu:

  • First Course
Fisher Island Oyster, smoked trout roe, white balsamic agro dolce & basil
  • Second Course
Mackerel In Scapece, cauliflower cous cous, preserved orange & shaved apple
  • Third Course
Shrimp & Crayfish Ravioli, blood orange, fried capers & squid ink citronete
  • Fourth Course
Seared Black Bass & a Prawn, manilla clams, braised fennel, toasted pignoli nuts & red chili peperonata
  • Dessert
    Panettone donuts

This is a prix fixe meal at $65/per person with an optional $25 wine pairing. Vesta is located at 21-02 30th Avenue, Astoria.

Just called to discover they are NOT offering a La Vigilia menu this year. Very disappointed. They are fully booked for Christmas eve after 7.30 PM.
