We finally have a name for the new bar opening up at 29-12 23rd Avenue, brought to Astoria by the folks behind Sweet Afton—The Bonnie. “Bonnie,” of course, means “beautiful” (any of you out there watching Outlander have surely heard this word lately). We saw a photo of the interior but it is still very much under construction. Construction has been going on for three months, but the owners say “everything is well underway.” They expect to be open “later this year.” We can’t wait to see it!

The photo above has a diagram of what the front exterior will look like—click to enlarge.
