Sure, Greenline Organic—AKA “The Tiki Hut” in our household—didn’t sell everything organic, but there were some things. They had a decent selection of cheese. Some perky vegetables at times. A nice assortment of chocolate. Awesome tortilla chips. Interesting grains. And it meant you could do some grocery shopping with out the PITA experience that can be Key Food. We’re not sure why they closed. Phone calls yield a disconnected number. We don’t know what will go in that space, but we hope it’s something the neighborhood can use. And we hope they weren’t driven out by a greedy landlord. If you have details to share about their closing, please leave us a comment or a tweet! I’ll be honest, I hated going in there. My husband and I loved it when it first opened, but the past 6 months, the produce has gone downhill. Every time I have gone in there, there were flies all over the food, mushy and moldy fruits and veggies. I was so disappointed and grossed out.
