We Heart Astoria Food Talk, *Comfort Food Edition*

Brrr…it’s cooold out there, Astoria.  Despite the weather being quite nippy this week, local restos are serving appropriately warm/comforting fare.

A few good pieces of news from M.Wells: 1). their new steakhouse is officially open for business, 2).  M.Wells Dinette is featuring a new winter menu 3). tourtieres (10 inch savory pies) are now available for pre-ordering.  See what Meg has to say about them.

We love our friends at Rest-au-Rant, and were delighted to see the fabulous coverage they got recently in BORO, and even more excited to learn their special recipe for chocolate truffles.

There’s a few fun new additions to the Bear winter menu such as: the “Grizzly Burger” (it’s back!),  Steamed Mussels in a garlic and parsley broth; a Smoked Salmon Salad with Caviar; Savory Pancakes with Salmon and Caviar and more!
