Last week we launched the start of our EPIC holidays, a full scale blitz on all things Holiday !  What’s the most EPIC part of the We Heart Astoria holiday season?  The annual 12 Days of Giveaways of course!  Check back in each weekday to hear about the latest and greatest gifts that our partners want to give you, our readers. On to the first giveaway!

We Heart Astoria 12 DAYS GIVEAWAYS-01The Museum of the Moving Image, the only Museum in the U.S. dedicated to the art, history, and technology of the moving image in all its forms. The museum is a one of a kind destination with more than 1,400 artifacts on display, interactive exhibitions, and over 400 screenings per year; special guests have included Martin Scorsese, Jake Gyllenhaal, Alexander Payne, Rachel Weisz, Alec Baldwin, and many more.

Our 1st Day of Giveaways winner will receive a dual membership for the Museum of the Moving Image a gift valued at $125 dollars.  With this membership you (plus 1) will be able to fully engage into the world of film, television, and video games.

I liked them on FB.. had been a member of the museum for years before the renovation, need to visit it again soon. My favorite holiday movie is “A Christmas Story”. Can remember when it was only on TV once or twice a year.
