As you’ve surely noticed Astoria, our site has undergone some major changes and we are pleased to welcome you to the new and revamped We Heart Astoria interactive platform.

As you’ve surely noticed Astoria, our site has undergone some major changes and we are pleased to welcome you to the new and revamped We Heart Astoria interactive platform.  We couldn’t be more excited for this major facelift of our site, and welcome your feedback.  A huge thank you goes out to our fabulous, patient and incredibly talented designer and programmer, Nuno Faustino of Poplicate and Sitebreed.  This major accomplishment couldn’t have been achieved without his hard work, professionalism and positive attitude.

Now…here’s what you can expect out of the new We Heart Astoria:

It actually looks a bit darker to me too (and we did ask our designer to change it)! We’re happy to take suggestions.

Great job on the new site, I would echo the sentiment about the light color tone being a bit difficult to see; besides that it look and navigates perfectly. As a returning Astorian after a decade on the road the town has changed SO much – I plan to come back often to your site and learn my town all over again! All the best, hope it’s a smashing success!!!!

I love the new site, but the light blue hyperlinks are a bit hard to read. Just a few shades darker would help them stand out from the background. Keep up the good work!

It was such a great pleasure working with you and redesigning the website! As an Astoria resident, and somebody that loves it here, I’ve been following WHA since you guys started it, and it feels amazing to be a part of the team.
