I drink my coffee black, and I LOVE the hit of caffeine it gives me — and the smell!

TQK is one of my favorite places in in the ‘hood. I live two blocks from there and this has become my haven of relaxation and awesome comfort food/drink for the last year.
Everything about coffee is great, the aroma, the taste, the caffeine, and it complements pastries so well!

OMG, I haven’t tried this place yet but they make CORTADOS!!! Yum.
I love the combination of the foam on steamed milk and espresso and a little sprinkle of sugar in the raw. Yum. One of my favorite things on the planet. I love waking up and having the ritual of preparation of coffee in my french press while feeding my little boy and getting us both ready for our days. mmm. coffee. mmm free GOOD coffee. Yea, free good coffee in ASTORIA!
Coffee is how I blackmail myself to get up for work in the morning! And then make it throw the day to get cozy with a cup in hand..
I know most people feel more awake when they drink coffee, but I just love the smell and the taste!

I like a good sweet cup with a little foam. No need for chocolate or cinnamon. Simple is best.

My love for coffee is endless. I start (and often end) each day with a cup of coffee. A great day has a cup or two in the middle shared with friends or family. A cup of coffee can be the warmth I need to get through the day, or the iced chill to wake up and greet the day! I love supporting coffee stops and shops from the biggest to the smallest, I love to sample the flavors and aromas from around the world. And to be honest, I love the cups, mugs & travel tumblers of every single shape and size. ..and now, I think it’s time for another cup!

Coffee. Where to begin? Warm, awakening goodness. Either hot or cold, with or without milk. Coffee goes with many breakfast items and, to my shock and awe, even with grilled cheese sandwiches.

What I love about coffee is how it brings people together. The idea of “grabbing coffee” is casual enough to ask an attractive stranger, or an old friend you want to catch up with. Plus, it’s delicious and energizing!
