It’s baaack! We Heart Astoria’s 3rd annual 12 Days of Giveaways promotion starts now with an amazing prize from our friends at Ovelia.  For those of you who haven’t yet been, Ovelia is one of our Greek modern favorites, as they take traditional Greek fare and flip it upside the head.  Think fried feta cubes in sesame seed batter, drizzled with honey; extra spicy kafteri dip; a “lamburgini” burger with the works, and more.

Today’s prize is an exciting Dinner for 2 at Ovelia during their Rock ‘n Ribs night, which happens every Wednesday.  What can you expect?  Comforting dishes such as BBQ ribs (full or half racks), buttermilk fried chicken , corn dog buttons, kafteri poppers…umm, need we say more?

How to enter: Leave us a comment and tell us your favorite BBQ dish and/or what you’re excited to try at Ovelia specifically.  You can enter between now and Wednesday, 12/12.  A winner will be chosen at random and announced on Thursday, 12/13.  Good luck and stay tuned for our other giveaways, each day this week.

Everything mentioned above sounds ABSOLUTELY amazing! I am PROUD to say, I am a complete foodie, and eagerly await new posts from this page about restaurants I’ve never been too, or even heard of. DEF DEF DEF hoping to win this one. ^__^

I’m a huge fan of pulled chicken sandwiches drenched in bbq sauce. Ovelia is simply amazing food, but I’ve never tried the xtapodi stin sxara – grilled octopus!

I’ve never had anything but the perfectly prepared whole fish at Ovelia, but I’d love to get my hands on their racks.

Ovelia is one of my favorites in Astoria. I really like that they let me bring in gluten-free sauce during their ribs night.

I love Ovelia’s KOTOPOULO STIN SXARA. I ordered it the first time I was there and I am now HOOKED!!

My wife is from Kenya and our favorite is barbecued goat meat. Sounds weird but it is sooooooo good!
