Twitter Facebook Email Print Ever since Bear Restaurant opened, just barely 1 year ago, we’ve been keeping a close eye on it, marveling at its ingenuity and passion that’s conveyed in everything from their inventive food and cocktails to their hospitable service. Recently having our big 2 year celebration there, we’ve been continually smitten. Getting to know the team behind Bear’s expert operation has been really fun as well. Run by brother and sister team, Alex and Natasha Pogrebinsky, it’s clear to us why this Astoria newbie is getting so much, well deserved kudos. In this special video post, we sit down with Bear’s Executive Chef, Natasha Pogrebinsky, as she gets up close and personal with us about her culinary inspirations, her unique cooking style as well as the interesting story behind how Bear got started. And if that’s not enough, we’re releasing some fun bloopers for you to enjoy and get a few laughs out of as well. A big thanks to Chef Natasha for being such a great sport, and laughing her head off about these outtakes. Also…to get further scoop on what goes on in the Bear kitchen, visit my site, Fooditka for a fun video that shows Chef Natasha in the kitchen making one of her signature dishes.
