Wes December 21st, 2011 The Gin Basil at Sweet Afton (made with St. Germaine, the liquor of my homeland) changed the way I look at cocktails. Describing something as tasting “clean” always seems like a pretentious way of saying nothing, but if you want the quintessential example of a “clean” taste, order the Gin Basil on a Sunday afternoon. Throw in some (decidedly not “clean” but nonetheless delicious) fried pickles, and you have the best quick brunch in the city. Bonnie December 21st, 2011 I know it’s not a creative answer, but Sweet Afton’s friend pickles are the reason it’s our go-to bar! and the burgers aren’t half bad either ;) Brendan December 21st, 2011 Sweet Afton + (Bloody Mary x 5).
