Today’s giveaway is the ninth in our 12 Days of Giveaways – we’re 2/3 of the way through!  The prize today is from one of the flagship independent clothing boutiques in Astoria: Candy Plum.  From clothing to hats to accessories, you’ll always find something interesting and unique there.

So what does Candy Plum have for you? A lovely, soft and luxurious red velvet plush bag with silk lining handmade by Strina. Perfect for carrying around that which needs the softer, more delicate touch.  The color is a rich red, almost a bright rose color – very pretty.  And it looks so soft, you might even feel compelled to pet it.  ;)

To enter the giveaway, just tell us about your favorite accessory.  Is it a necklace? A purse? A pair of cuff links? We want to know!  We’ll pick a winner (randomly, of course) on Monday morning.

Favorite accessory right now is a fabulous boiled wool hat I bought from a holiday market.

Silkscreened t-shirts and colorful + functional tote bags are my fave sources of accessory flair.

As of late, I am in love with giant cocktail rings. Sure, all the ones I have are fakes, but who can resist a little sparkle :-)

A classic, rich leather bag. Never out of style and gets better with age and wear.

I have a wrap bracelet that is a combination of braided leather and charms, it wraps around my wrist a few times. I love it.

Diamonds! Ha, well I only have one, but I wear it every day pretty much. It’s a solitaire necklace that I got from my father when I got my graduate degree. So sparkly! :)
