11:00am-12:00pm – Alice’s Tea Party & Storytime!
Follow the white rabbit straight to our doorstep for tea and treats! Starting at 11:30am our star storyteller, Gina Verdi, will be reading Alice in Wonderland and tea party themed books for the smaller party-goers.
1:00pm-4:00pm – Face Painting with The Cheeky Chipmunk
Local Astoria artist extraordinaire, Lenore Koppelman, will be setting up shop in the bookstore and offering free face painting, what will you get?
5:00pm-7:00pm – Happy Hour
For our customers who prefer their cocktails with a literary bent.
But that’s not all, we wouldn’t dare let people leave empty handed after a birthday celebration!
For purchases of $25 or more, you can pick out a wrapped book to take home. Books will be labeled with the genre and the opening sentence, the rest is a surprise!
