On Saturday 6/22 we hung out at the QAX Block Party on 37th Street between 34th and 35th Avenues in Astoria. There was food, fun, and plenty of good times.
Frankenstein Upstairs, from Gideon Productions, is playing at The Secret Theatre Thursday through Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday matinee at 3 pm through June 30.
Today we attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly completed George S. Kaufman Courtyard at the Museum of the Moving Image.

Yelp’s Spring Spectacle event brought out the borough’s best food, drink, music and art all under one roof at the Museum of Moving Image.

Meg checked out the annual St. Demetrios Greek Fair last night, on its first day. There were rides, carnival games, traditional Greek food, and an overall good time.
EXPO 1: New York, opened at LIC’s MoMA PS1 this past weekend, and features a vibrant, diverse exhibit of ecology-inspired art, featuring modules, interventions, solo projects, and group exhibitions. It will be on display until September 2, 2013.
