Here’s five great ways to spend your Beer Week without even hopping on the train. The Queens Kickshaw has an impressive Beer Week lineup: An all-Queens tap takeover featuring: Beyond Kombucha, Bridge and Tunnel Brewery, Rockaway Brewing Co., SingleCut Beersmiths. Friday, 2/22 – Friday, 3/1, 11am-1am A four course all-Queens brewery dinner! Each dish is made with components of the brewing process, or with the beer/kombucha itself. Dinner includes a beer/kombucha pairing. Tuesday, 2/26 & Wednesday, 2/27 , 6:00pm – 9:30pm. To reserve your spot, send an email to info@thequeenskickshaw.com with your requested date and time. Peekskill Tap Takeover: Peekskill’s head brewer Jeff O’Neil will be on hand to mark the brewery’s first foray into Queens. Head Roasters Mike Love and Kurt Balogh of Coffee Labs Roasters will also be in attendance in honor of their collaborative brew, a one-off cask, yet unnamed! Saturday, 3/2, 5:30pm-1am. Join Alewife for a Rockn’ Beer Dinner featuring Singlecut Beersmiths. For $65 you’ll get a five course meal, beer pairing and Q&A with Singlecut brewmaster, Rich Buceta. Menu items include Pear Onion Tart with Goat Cheese and Honey (with 19-33 Lagrrr!) and Duck Confit Tamale with Hoisin Sauce (with Dean Mahogany Ale.) Purchase tickets here. Beer Week continues with their Queens Showcase, Thursday 2/28 from 7pm-10pm, featuring: Bridge & Tunnel Brewery, Rockaway Brewing Co., and Singlecut Beersmiths.
