In Bloom Collective is presenting the first-ever Astoria Art Festival Friday, November 9th-Sunday, November 11th, and we want you to attend and help celebrate the passion and creativity that make this borough culturally unique. More than 30 local artists, all from Queens, are showing off their wide-ranging work, from paintings and drawings to photography and mixed media, throughout nearly 20 favorite local venues. Wander into Crescent Lounge, Queens Comfort, Cafe Bar, Sweet Afton, Fatty’s, Hell
Gate Social, Sparrow, Bareburger on 31st Avenue, William Hallet, SITE, Astoria Park Wine & Spirits and Pin Up Queens anytime throughout the weekend and you’ll be treated to some good-looking art hanging on the walls. There’s no set itinerary; stick close to home or explore the neighborhood at your leisure.
After party at SPARROW TAVERN (24-01 29th Street)- Showcasing the photography of Pamela Curtiss plus a slideshow of all the artists. The party will also feature dj Dennis Borowsky plus drink specials. 1 am-close
Saturday November 10th
Stefany Moheban of Prettyinthrift.com will be offering free styling at our “Fashion as Art” event at the new vintage store PIN UP QUEENS (22-03 Astoria Blvd.) from 1-3 p.m.

From 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Bryan Bruner will be showcasing his work at BAREBURGER @ 33-21 31st Ave

From 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. CRESCENT LOUNGE ( 32-05 Crescent Street) will be hosting a group opening featuring work by Ben Louria, Alyssa D’Anna, Tania Nunez and Christine Prudenti. Look for happy hour drink specials, too.
From 9 p.m.- close CAFE BAR (3290 36th Street) will be hosting an opening with a dj and drink specials. Artists showing here include Dennis Borowsky, Davi Leventhal, Alexandra Militano, and Courtney Kates.
