The area near Athens Cafe and Key Food on Newtown Avenue is dangerous, crowded and totally under utilized. Imagine how nice it could be turned into a pedestrian plaza! For those interested in seeing this happen, there’s a meeting next Tuesday at Astoria World Manor (25-22 Astoria Blvd.) It starts at 6:30pm and runs until about 8.
