Help Astoria Bier and Cheese-Ditmars Celebrate Their Two Year Anniversary

Do you like beer? Do you like delicious food? Do you like supporting local businesses? Then the two year anniversary party at Astoria Bier and Cheese-Ditmars is for you! Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 18, they are throwing a big party to celebrate.

I still remember when they first opened and how exciting it was to finally have a real cheese shop in the Ditmars area. Yes, the beer is also important, but for years Astorians yearned for a place where you could get a good selection of delicious artisanal cheeses. It started with the original Astoria Bier and Cheese on Broadway, which was a huge deal, and an additional location in the northern part of Astoria just seemed like a no-brainer.

So help one of the great Astoria food and drink purveyors mark their second year in business! Festivities go from 7-10pm tomorrow night and your ticket ($55 in advance, $65 at the door, if available) covers everything—food, drink, as well as tax, tip, and ticketing fee. You’ll get unlimited beer from 12 taps, plenty of eats, music, a raffle, and they’ll have the back patio open for more space to mingle.
