Make Your Voice Heard at the Upcoming Capital and Expense Budget Hearing

Here’s a great way to contribute your ideas to the decision making process—at the Capital and Expense Budget Public Hearing!

This hearing is happening on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the Astoria World Manor—that’s the same place they hold the CB 1 meetings (25-22 Astoria Boulevard). You are invited to make your request known to the Community Board that evening.

Each year Community Board 1 is required to submit a priority list of Capital and Expense projects and service requests to the City’s Office of Management and Budget for funding in the City’s upcoming Capital Budget. As a member of our community, we are seeking your suggestions for projects and city services that you think should be included in this priority list for the Board’s Fiscal Year 2016 Budget submission.
