Now that all non-essential stores have been mandated to shut down to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, many local boutiques and stores need your help to stay afloat. If you are looking for ways to support your favorite retail stores, read up on what you can do here.

This is will be continuously updated with new specials and initiatives.

HiFi Records

HiFi Records is doing “Curbside Records,”  where you can call or email orders and then pick up your records at HiFi from 12-5pm. Call 718-606-1474 or email hifirecords@icloud.com. Also, there is free shipping on orders over $40 if you are having them mailed.

They are also doing “HiFi Live” performances on their Instagram stories most evenings. Follow along on Instagram.

Lockwood

Lockwood was doing care packages too, but is putting those on hold for a week and will reassess. In the meantime, you can still order gift cards online here. If you get one for $50 or more, you will get a handwritten “Thank You” note as well as become a “Lockwood VIP” member, which means you will get 10% off all purchases for the rest of the year.

Mackenzi has already expressed that because of the overwhelming (in an amazing way!) amount of care package orders, she was able to pay for her staff’s healthcare for March & April. She was also able to keep two staff members paid, when she originally thought she was going to have to lay off all of them. So keep the gift card orders coming, they’re really making a huge difference!
