Astoria’s Spring Retail Crawl is Back in April

The weather is warming up (seriously, it was almost 70° this week?!), which means shopping at your favorite local retailers will be even more enjoyable! Perfect timing with Shop Small Astoria’s 4th Annual “Spring Retail Crawl” coming up next weekend 3/20.

As you may know, Shop Small Astoria is a collective of local, independently-owned retailers. The yearly Spring Retail Crawl (which is in addition to their annual Fall Retail Crawl) has 17 participating shops that offer special deals and discounts for shopping at multiple stores over the course of the weekend.

Here are the DEETS:

When? Friday 3/20 – Sunday 3/22

What? Customers who spend $10 or more at each participating shop will get a stamp (marked in an adorable “passport” designed by local artist Caryn Cast). Customers that shop at 6 or more stores get an Astoria tote bag!

How? When customers complete the crawl they will drop off at Lockwood Original, The Brass Owl, Lavender Label, or Chateau Le Woof.

Be sure to check back in on the Facebook page and Instagram this week to see additional promotions, giveaways and deals from the participating stores–and also from some restaurants, bars, and coffee shops that are joining in on the fun by offering discounts with proof of shopping.

Shops consistently see 25-50 percent business increases during these “retail crawls” compared to regular weekends, so this is a truly effective way to support our local community hands-on.

Also this year will be some amazing prizes, like an $100 visa gift card (courtesy of LOCKWOOD, but spend anywhere!) and $125 dining experience at Queen’s Room.
