Join the Second Annual Spring Retail Crawl in Astoria!

The Astoria independent retailers are back again this year with their second annual spring retail crawl, part of the neighborhood’s ongoing #ShopSmallAstoria campaign. It’s a chance for local independent shops to show off their goods and for you to get some deals! As Nicole Panettieri, the crawl’s founder and proprietor of The Brass Owl, says, “I began Shop Small Astoria in 2015 to unite the local boutiques in the neighborhood and promote the amazing shopping opportunities we have here.”

The spring retail crawl takes place this weekend—Friday, March 23 to Sunday, March 25. Here’s how it works:

Pick up a shopping passport at each of the participating retailers to have signed when you make a purchase this weekend. When you buy something, you will also receive a Shop Small Astoria button (while supplies last). A couple of special notes:

• Those of you who shop at 5 or more stores get entered to a drawing to win a gift card from all participating stores + a bottle of wine from Vintage Astoria (a $450 value).
• And those of you that shop at 8 or more stores get a swag bag filled with goodies from the participating stores, as well as restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all over Astoria—that includes Salt & Bone, Singlecut, OK Cafe, Brooklyn Bagel and more.

Drop off your passports by Monday, March 26 at select locations: The Brass Owl, Chateau Le Woof, Lavender Label, or Lockwood.
