If you’re still scrambling to figure out how to celebrate New Year’s Eve, have no fear, we’ve rounded up all the spots in Astoria that are hosting the holidays in style.

New Year’s

Amylos Taverna

This modern-meets-traditional Greek restaurant is offering a four course prix fixe menu and a complimentary glass of champagne to toast the new year at the reasonable price of $85 per person. See the full menu here: NYE Menu 12.05.19

The Bonnie

The Bonnie is traveling back to the 1920s for New Year’s Eve with an open bar from 9pm-12am, party favors, hor d’oeuvres, secret cocktails, a champagne toast at midnight and music from DJ Chambray all day for $90/person. A prize will go to the person with the best speakeasy style. Make reservations at celebrate@thebonnie.com.

Sweet Afton

New Year’s at Sweet Afton includes an open bar from 9 p.m. – 12 a.m., hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening, specialty cocktails and a champagne toast at midnight, all for are $85. Tickets can be purchased via sweetaftonbar.com. A limited number of dinner reservations are also available between 7 and 8:15 p.m. by emailing celebrate@sweetaftonbar.com. This is really the baller move; booking a table for dinner secures your spot for the duration of the evening, so you don’t have to fight the crowd for a bar stool!

DiWine

It’s also the roaring ’20s at DiWine Restaurant & Wine Bar! The restaurant will be serving Prohibition-style cocktails such as the Bee’s Knees (gin, lemon and honey), and an a la carte menu will be available at two seatings 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. (the late seating will be for the ball drop). The ball drop from Times Square will be shown on a big screen, and everyone will get a complimentary glass of bubbly to toast to 2020. 1920s dress/accessories are encouraged. There is no cover charge and reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the restaurant at (718) 777-1355.

Off the Hook

Celebrate this NYE at Off the Hook in Astoria! Live DJ starts at 9 pm. Open Bar 10 – 2 am with ticket. Free champagne toast. Kitchen open till midnight. Bar open all night. Purchase tickets here.

The Ditty

The Ditty will be having a 4 HOUR PREMIUM OPEN BAR! Passed hors d’oeuvres, dedicated space at the bar or a table, huge champagne bottle, DJ spinning all night! $100 ticket entry. Uncle Jack’s Meat House 

Uncle Jack’s has a few different options for ringing in the New Year right. They’ll have a $49.95 three course prix fixe menu for dinner (see menu below), as well as a $60 per person 2.5 hour open bar in the bar section with a complimentary champagne toast and passed hors d’oeuvres, or a $70 per person prohibition party in their speakeasy section.

Beans & Lager is offering an amazing prix fixe dinner, open bar and live entertainment for $150 per person including gratuity.

Kōyō

For New Year’s Eve Chef Liu at Kōyō will spotlight the following menu:

  • Sakizuke: Botan Ebi, uni, caviar and egg yolk aioli 
  • Zensai: Seasonal sashimi, shirako tempura and dashi braised shiro baigai (Japanese Ivory Shell)
  • Mushimono: Shiitake, gingko nut, okra and chawanmushi
  • Takiawase: A5 Wagyu with seasonal vegetables and goma dare sauce
  • Sunomono: Tai Ankimo (monkfish liver) with ponzu, gomaae and hanaho
  • Nigiri: Seasonal Selections
  • Mizumono: Neri Goma gelato with white chocolate snow and persimmon jelly

The menu is priced at $160 per guest with seatings at 5:30pm and 8pm. The menu can be complemented by the selection of unique sakes including Tamagawa’s Time Machine 1712, a non-charcoal filtered sake aged in a bourbon barrel.
