Opening Today: The Courtyard at The Collective (aka The Paper Factory)

We reported back in March about the new, mysterious-sounding “short-stay communal living” space at the old Paper Factory Hotel, now called “The Collective.” The British company is a “growing, global network of co-living locations” that now owns the space, and will be fully relaunching it come Fall. But, it’s giving us a sneak preview with their summer project “The Courtyard.”

From 4 to 11 p.m. tonight, August 1, will be the grand opening of the “new seasonal neighborhood hangout featuring lawn games and a refreshing, signature beverage program.”

The pop-up space promises picnic tables and lounge areas with twinkle lights, live music, and beer, wine and cocktails (served by the glass OR pitcher).

For nibbles, a food truck by Souvlaki GR will be on-site, offering house-made mezze, pitas and skewers including lamb, chicken, veggie, Greek sausage and more.

Hours will be: Monday: 4-9:30 p.m.; Tuesday: 4-9:30 p.m.; Wednesday: 4-10 p.m.; Thursday: 4-11 p.m.; Friday: 3 p.m.-12 a.m.; Saturday: 11-12 a.m.; Sunday: 11 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
