The Huntress Whiskey & Wings Opens In LIC

The owners of Long Island City’s burger and craft beer spot The Baroness have recently opened another, nearby location to get some truly warming food and drink this winter: The Huntress Whiskey & Wings.

Located on 41st Avenue in Long Island City, it’s not far from The Baroness, known for its burgers, or from their third upcoming location, another bar and grill called The Dutchess. (We’re noticing a theme here.)

Besides the whiskey selection, there are also 10 house-brewed craft beers to choose from, as well as plenty of cocktails. Wings come with a variety of seasonings: spicy, savage, sticky, smoky, and something called “scrispy.” Not into wings? The menu also features duck, venison jerky, poutine, and more.

The Huntress’ decor is true to its name; it’s got a deer motif, and it’s even got antlers as taps. Having only opened on December 28, they may still be ironing out some organizational kinks, but that’s to be expected.

Third location The Dutchess appears to still be in the works. It’s location is nearby the first two restaurants, and it’s described as being a “resto royale.” We don’t know exactly what that means yet, but be sure we’ll be the first to let you know!
