So get out there on this milder weekend and shop, and support local artisans while you’re at it! Queens-Made Market New kid on the block, Queens-Made Market launches this weekend. Here’s what they’re all about: Our mission is to establish and operate a community-supported arts & crafts market that provides an eclectic alternative to the traditional retail and shopping experience, where local artists, artisans and crafters bring their products for a unique show-and-sell experience in a creative and friendly environment for all. The market takes place Saturday & Sunday, May 5 & 6 from noon to 5pm at Okabaloo #FunArtFaktory, 35-52 32nd Street (Ground FL) in LIC. Astoria Tiny Market The Astoria Tiny Market will be Saturday, May 5 at Madame Marie’s (35-15 Broadway) from 2-6pm with cards, treats and gifts for mom (and Cinco de Mayo drink specials at the bar). Queens Craft Brigade Queens will be on May 6 at the VFH (31-35 41st Street) from noon-5pm.
