DiWine Restaurant & Wine Bar

Dinner specials for moms at Astoria’s popular DiWine Restaurant & Wine Bar include $11 Steamed Mussels (regularly $15) with their choice of broths:

• Mariniere–shallot, garlic, white wine, parsley and preserved lemon
• Basquaise—fire- roasted red peppers, vidalia onions, herbs and white wine
• Provencal—garlic, white wine, tomato broth and herbs de Provence
• Normandes—slab bacon, wild mushrooms, apples, light cream and calvados
• Grecque—braised fennel, lemon juice, shallot, garlic, and coriander

DiWine will also be offering $8 glasses and $30 bottles of wine (regularly $10/$38). The restaurant will be serving it’s regular live-music brunch on Mother’s Day.  DiWine will be open from 11am-2am.

George’s delectable brunch features Challah French Toast, Studio Omelet, Chicken & Waffles, Toad in the Hole and much more. Guests can also imbibe the specialty cocktails such as Gina Lollobrigida (fresh, chilled espresso, house-made vanilla vodka, Bailey’s, Kahlua & Frangelico), A Kiss for Cinderella (1921 movie starring Betty Bronson: Effen Cucumber vodka, acai liqueur, fresh squeezed lemon & lime, hint of simple syrup), Tallulah’s Mimosa (Tallulah Bankhead star of My Sin, 1931: the studio’s spin on the classic mimosa – house-made clementine infused vodka, splash of pineapple juice, hint of orange blossom, topped with champagne) and more.

Reserve at M. Wells Steakhouse for a big brunch this Sunday. The 13th annual Taste of LIC tickets are now on sale!
