Weekend Pick: Return of the Queens Craft Brigade After the smashing success of their debut craft marketplace on July 9, Queens Craft Brigade is BACK with new dates and new vendors. The first event was a lot of fun, so we’re excited to see the series continue! Their next craft fair will take place Sunday, September 17th from 12pm-5pm at the VFW Hall located at 31-35 41st Street. Not only will they be selling goodies from returning favorites like Queens Knits, Metrix Jewelry, HiFi Records, and Unified Queens, but they will also be welcoming new additions like Native Coffee Roasters, Bushel and Bear and Caryn Cast Art. The full list of vendors can be found on their website here. Can’t make the September 17th event? Never fear, more dates are here! The Queens Craft Brigade will also be hosting makers at the VFW on October 22, November 19, and December 10. As if the awesome shopping, killer tunes, and community support wasn’t enough, there’s also a special treat planned for the October 22nd event: FLATTOPPS will be on hand serving up burgers! In case you haven’t already marked that date in your calendar, you’ll probably want to now. To RSVP to the September 17th fair, check out the official Facebook event here.
