On Labor Day

Labor Day Street Festival
Monday, September 4, 10am-6pm
30th Avenue from 29th Street to 41st Street, Astoria

The 30th Avenue Merchants Association brings you their annual Labor Day street fair. More information.

Unity Through Art Show
Monday, September 4, 1-7pm
T Studio, 38-01 23rd Avenue, Suite 203, Astoria

All different art styles by artists from all over the world in a new beautiful Astoria venue, have come together to create one unifying salon-style exhibit. More information.

Rustkickers Labor Day
Monday, September 4, 4-7pm
LIC Bar 45-58 Vernon Blvd, Long Island City

Finn & His Rustkickers will be doing a set on Labor Day outside on the carriage house stage at the lovely LIC Bar. There’s always a ton of great live music at LIC so come early and stay late and show solidarity with your fellow workers. More information.

Note that the Bohemian Beer Garden will open at noon on Labor Day.

During Labor Day Weekend

The Astoria Pool‘s final day is Labor Day and will be open normal hours. All NYC Greenmarkets are open during the weekend. The LIC Flea will also be open normal hours for Labor Day weekend. You can always find more inspiration in our 50+ Things to Do for Summer, too.
