Now in its fourth year, the week dedicated to all things hoppy and delicious will once again be getting the party started with a celebration along the water at LIC Landing on Saturday, May 6, from 4pm-7pm. To make the day even cooler, the party will also be for a good cause: the event will benefit two local non-profit organizations, the Friends of Firefighters and the Hunters Point Park Conservancy. Those who purchase the $40 tickets can expect unlimited samples (while supplies last, of course) from all of the participating Queens Beer Week breweries, including: Big Alice Brewing Co. Finback Brewery Descendant Cider Co. Bridge & Tunnel Brewery LIC Beer Project ICONYC Brewery SingleCut Beersmiths Transmitter Brewing Co. Rockaway Brewing Co. There event will also feature live music, and, hopefully, sunshine! Last year’s event was an absolute blast, until the rain came down. (Luckily, Alewife was just a quick walk away. More beer to drink there!) For more information and to purchase tickets, check out their Eventbrite page here. Cheers!
