Where to Enjoy Your Easter Festivities in Astoria and LIC

Western Easter is almost upon us! This year we’ve collected listings for Easter brunch and dinner, as well as a good number of egg hunts. Most years, Western Easter (celebrated by the Catholics, Episcopalians, Protestants, etc) and Orthodox Easter (celebrated by the Greek Orthodox) fall on different days but this year they are on the same day. Enjoy the smell of lamb in the neighborhood on Sunday!

Easter Egg Hunt
Astoria Park and Bryant Park High School (48th Street and Broadway)

Since 2012 Connection Church has hosted thousands at their annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year they’re back at 2 locations—Astoria Park and Bryant High School. There will be age specific egg hunts, a coffee bar, and door prizes.

Easter Egg Hunt
Murray Park, 21st Street and 45th Avenue, Long Island City
10am-noon

Calling friends and neighbors of Murray Park! Kids aged 2 to 10 years old are invited to participate the inaugural egg hunt at the park. Enjoy live music, face painting, snacks and drinks, and all sorts of family fun. Register for the free egg hunt at murrayparkevents2017@gmail.com.

6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt-Climb

Join the vertical Easter Egg hunt to search high, low, up, down and around walls throughout Brooklyn Boulders’ 25,000 square foot facility! Hundreds of Eggs. Raffles. Prizes. Free stuff. Open to kids ages 4-12. Adult supervision required.

Renew Queens is spearheading the Queens Easter Festival. It has become an annual tradition for many families in Western Queens, drawing over 3,000 individuals each year between the two locations. This fun-filled morning consists of age-specific egg hunts, ample carnival games, live children’s entertainment, appearance from the Easter Bunny and serves as a truly dynamic day in the calendar year that brings the community together.

For the safety of your children and others, no child will be allowed to participate in a hunt that does not match the age group they belong to, with no exceptions. Please ensure you registered for the correct age group of your child.

This is a free TICKETED event. PRE-REGISTRATION is required. Walk up registration is prohibited. Tickets must be presented in order to participate. *Rain date: April 22nd.
