Not to mention that the Women’s March this past January 21—celebrated around the world—kicked a whole resistance movement into gear. All of these elements have contributed to the Kickshaw’s decision to honor women and their power in March. Two days a week—two at this point, but more may be planned—there will be live performances plus a chance to turn your beer/cider/wine drinking into cash for organizations like Planned Parenthood Action and ACLU Nationwide. WEDNESDAYS: Art performance plus 1 tap line for which all sales go to non-profits THURSDAYS: All-female vinyl playlist plus 25% of bar sales go to non-profits Here are the local folks who will be donating product: Astoria Distilling Company Big Alice Brewing Iconyc Brewing Co.
