Aspiring entrepreneurs: listen up! Free small business seminars are coming to Queens in early March, presented by the folks at Queens International Night Market. The series of workshops will serve as a lead-up to the market’s April 22nd and April 29th sneak preview openings.

The seminars are available for people who are interested in becoming vendors for the Night Market, but are also geared towards individuals and families hoping to start any kind of business in New York City. Last year, approximately 80 budding entrepreneurs participated in this series.

The NYC Mayor’s Office and the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) are co-sponsoring this series, which will be held on March 9th, March 14th, and March 16th from 6:30-9:30pm at LaGuardia Community College in Long Island City (31-10 Thomson Ave). The workshops will focus on a variety of topics, including creating a business plan, marketing, social media, securing financing, obtaining permits, and navigating government regulations. The series will also include Night Market topics and feature guest speakers, networking, and Q&A opportunities.
