Can you believe it’s that time again? Time for the Participatory Budgeting vote in Astoria! As usual, you get to help decide how to spend $1 million on a project that benefits the Astoria community. That includes improvements to schools, parks, libraries, public housing, and other public or community spaces. Voting locations are below:

If you are 14 years or older, you can participate starting next month, from March 25 to April 2, 2017. BTW, if you need a reminder of what was voted on, you can go here. Winners were:

  1. Picnic/Gaming Tables Installation in Astoria Park,

The ballot itself is yet to be created, but volunteers are on the job, and will take the ideas that were brainstormed by the public.

If you’d like to volunteer at a voting site, fill out this form. Other volunteer opportunities can be found here.

We can’t wait to vote!
