Along with Small Business Saturday, it’s that time of year to check out the indie holiday markets! Here is our list so far; we’ll update as we get wind of more markets.

QED’s Holiday Bazaar

Saturday, November 26
1-6pm
Q.E.D., 27-16 23rd Avenue

We’ll be launching holiday shopping season with locally-crafted gifts from 25 of the neighborhood’s foremost creative makers. Expect to come across one-of-a-kind ceramics, hand-made jewelry, imaginatively designed greeting cards, eye-catching art and super delicious treats. Inventive holiday drink specials will also be available from QED’s bar. This will take place on SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY! So be sure to #ShopSmall at QED! QED will be featuring lots of great drink specials for this event such as $5 draught beer, wine & mimosas!

Astoria Market Holiday Market

Sunday, December 4, 11, and 18
12-6pm
Main Hall at Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden 29-19 24th Avenue

At all 3 events, there will be a full house of fantastic vendors, where you’ll find art, jewelry, toys, chocolates, body care, handbags, clothing, stationery, scarves and hats, pottery, and more! Bohemian Hall will offer their scrumptious “Grandmas Kitchen” menu – which includes a variety of homemade soups, assorted pork and sausage platters, and homemade apple strudel. There will also be eggnog, chestnuts, hot apple cider, and other holiday favorites on the menu.

TQK Holiday Market

Saturday, December 17

The Queens Kickshaw, 40-17 Broadway, Astoria

Some of the most talented people we’ve ever met come through the doors of Kickshaw, and a few of them are our very own staff! Six of our crew handmake items like wallets (out of rubber tires), pins, punk Christmas tree ornaments, hand-painted handkerchiefs, zines, collages, cocktail recipe cards, and chocolate chip cookies.

All items are $35 and under. Come in and drink some mulled+spiked cider for $5 and browse your heart out.

Spiked Mug Fest + Holiday Bazaar

This unlimited tasting event is all about sippin’ some boozy drinks while you eat global street food and shop from the best local makers, crafters, and vintage at the attached Holiday Bazaar. Get your tickets today, or risk having to see it all on the Instagram feed of your pals!

The Sweet Afton Holiday Market

Sunday, December 18

Sweet Afton, 30-09 34th Street

Stop by Sweet Afton for their annual Holiday/Winter Market, featuring local artists and vendors. There’s a raffle, too, and proceeds from that will go to support Concern Worldwide.
